First Impressions & Overview
From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how clean and inviting the atmosphere is. It’s a small, intimate hotel that prioritizes comfort and personalized service. The vibe is incredibly cozy—the kind of place where you can kick back and relax after a long day of exploring. We felt welcomed right away by the staff, who are some of the most polite and pleasant people we’ve met in the industry.
Location & Accessibility
The hotel is perfectly situated on “Targovska” Street in Samokov. The biggest draw? You are only 9 kilometers away from Borovets. This makes it an ideal “base camp.” In the winter, you can hit the ski slopes in about 15 minutes, and in the summer, you’re perfectly positioned for beautiful mountain treks. Staying here is a much more affordable way to enjoy everything the region has to offer compared to staying directly in the resort center.

The Room
We stayed in the Junior Suite with Sauna, and it was such a treat! Having your own private sauna in the room is the ultimate way to warm up after a day in the snow. The suite was spotless and felt very spacious. The decor is pleasant and maintains that mountain-cabin-meets-modern-comfort feel that we love.

Food & Drink
The on-site restaurant is a standout. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Because the restaurant is small and popular, the staff goes the extra mile – they always prioritize hotel guests and will ask you in advance if you’d like a table reserved for dinner. It’s a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated! While dinner was fantastic, we did notice that the breakfast selection is a bit on the simpler side. It’s a modest start to the day, but it’s fresh and gets the job done before you head out to the mountains.

Facilities & Amenities
Aside from the wonderful private sauna in our suite, the hotel offers a very pleasant environment throughout. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and the common areas are kept in perfect condition. The real “amenity” here, though, is the service – the waiters and hotel staff are genuinely kind and make the stay feel special.
