This is a walking tour of Sofia, Bulgaria on a rainy autumn afternoon in October 2026. The walk starts at Sofia City Center near Makedonia Square and ends back on Vitosha Boulevard, with the sound of real rain, wet streets and passing trams all the way.

From Makedonia Square we follow Alabin Street past the Palace of Justice and turn onto Vitosha Boulevard, the main pedestrian street of the capital, where the glass café pavilions glow in the rain. Then we continue along Patriarch Evtimiy Boulevard and Georgi Rakovski Street to Slaveykov Square.

From the square the route climbs Graf Ignatiev Street, a shopping street with tram tracks and lit shop windows. At Garibaldi Square we turn onto Ivan Denkoglu Street and head back to Vitosha Boulevard, where the dome of St. Nedelya Church appears at the end of the walk.
