This is a walking tour of Varna, Bulgaria – the country’s sea capital and third largest city. We start at Independence Square in front of the Dramatichen Teatar Stoyan Bachvarov, then move through the city center toward the coast.

Along the way you’ll pass the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, walk down Preslav Street and Bul Knyaz Boris I, and reach Sevastopol Square by Hotel Cherno More. Bul Slivnitsa is where locals go for coffee and dinner, lined with restaurants and cafes.

The tour spends real time in the Sea Garden, one of the largest parks in Southeast Europe, before reaching the promenade and the beach. Along the seafront you’ll also pass the Primorski swimming pools complex, where locals train and swim.
