First Impressions & Overview
The moment you arrive, the resort hits you with its sheer scale and beauty. It’s an architectural marvel with greenery on the roofs and palms everywhere you look. The overall vibe is undeniably luxurious. However, it’s a massive complex, so be prepared for a bit of an adventure! During our check-in, we weren’t escorted to our room, and because the place is so vast, we spent some time wandering through the beautiful corridors trying to find our way. It’s all part of the scale of such a grand resort, but once you settle in, the “oasis” feeling really takes over.
Location & Accessibility
The location is simply picturesque. Located in the South-West coast of Kassandra-Halkidiki, it feels exclusive and private. The hotel is right on the beach, and the way the pools blend with the sea views is breathtaking. Everything you need – from boutique shops to entertainment – is right there on-site, so you never really have to leave this pocket of paradise.
The Room
We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room, and waking up to that view was incredible. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. While the room itself was lovely, we found the interior to be a bit more “classic” compared to the ultra-modern and luxurious feel of the hotel’s lobbies and exterior areas. A small detail: our bathroom door had a bit of a creak, but the comfort of the bed and the scenery from the balcony more than made up for it. For an even bigger splurge, some rooms even come with their own private pools!
Food & Drink
Dining here is a treat. The food is incredibly diverse, catering to all sorts of palates, and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from a five-star resort. The waitstaff are notably polite and attentive, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you’re having breakfast with a sea breeze or a sophisticated dinner, the culinary side of things is definitely a highlight.
Facilities & Amenities
The facilities are simply top-notch. Between the crystal-clear pools and the inviting sea, we actually didn’t even make it to the famous thermal spa because we were so busy enjoying the water and the sunshine! Everywhere you walk, you see palms, manicured lawns, and sparkling water. It’s a very clean and well-kept environment that really lives up to its luxury label.
